1) Piedmont Park
First up, check out Piedmont Park! This beautiful green space is perfect for a summer picnic or an afternoon spent relaxing in the sun. Just be sure to wear sunscreen, because the park can get pretty hot!

The Vickery Creek Trail at Roswell Mill is a great place to hike or run because it’s scenic, shady, and provides plenty of opportunities for a fun photoshoot. The hike explores the historic remains of Roswell Mill and visits the mill’s spillway dam waterfall on a tributary of the Chattahoochee River.

Stone Mountain is a quartz monzonite dome monadnock and the site of Stone Mountain Park, 16 miles east of Atlanta. The park is the most visited tourist site in Georgia. If you hike to the top, you will see some spectacular views that go on for miles!
